APPARATUS FOR REMOVING DUST-LIKE SCALE RESIDUES FROM SURFACE OF METALLIC ARTICLE Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC B21C43/04 

FIELD: drawing-sizing processes and equipment, namely preparation of metallic blank surfaces to drawing in flow manufacturing line.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes first cleaning chamber filled with abrasive powder; second chamber for after-cleaning coaxial to first one and filled with cleaning material. Mechanism for compacting cleaning material is arranged at inlet of second chamber. Said chamber is cone one, it has changeable caps in outlet opening for adjusting according to concrete diameter of article. Compacting mechanism is in the form of cylindrical chamber for guiding article; said cylindrical chamber is adjoined to inlet of second chamber and joined with it. Outlet packing of suction branch pipe of circulation-separation system of abrasive powder fed from first chamber is used as inlet packing of cylindrical chamber. Charging hopper for cleaning material (wood dust) is arranged over cylindrical chamber. Invention provides possibility for shortening length of manufacturing flow line and for lowering consumption of material used for applying under-lubricant coating.

EFFECT: lowered power consumption, reduced size of apparatus, its improved technological effectiveness.
