FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can be used for treating osteomyelitis. A lesion is approached through an external skin opening of a fistula and a drain canal formed through the fistula pass by dilating the fistula pass section placed from an outlet from a soft tissue section to an outlet from a bone section; the dilation process involves creating a canal of an external diameter of 0.2-1.2 cm; the fistula pass section arranged from the outlet from the bone section to the outlet from the bone cavity; that is followed by dilating by means of a drill; the canal is created in the bone section by means of the drill of the diameter of 0.3-1.2 cm.
EFFECT: method enables reducing injuries, improving functional capabilities.
