FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: superficial scleral flap extending into the transparent corneal layer is cut out under a conjunctival flap; the superficial scleral flap is trapezium-shaped with its greater base of 3 mm at a limb, and its smaller base of 2 mm and an altitude of 4 mm. A deep scleral flap is formed and removed together with peripheral layers of the cornea and an outer wall of the Schlemm's canal until the trabecular area and the Descemet's membrane are exposed. A drain tube of a collagen copolymer is anchored into the formed scleral bed to an inner side of the superficial scleral flap. The superficial scleral flap is laid back.
EFFECT: method enables forming the sclero-scleral adhesions on the periphery of the superficial scleral flap.
