FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: proposed controller comprises: casing, accelerator pedal 14, drive shaft 1, weight holder 2, centrifugal weights 3, centrifugal weight coupling 4, main lever 5, main spring 7, fuel pump rack 9, rack lever 10, electromagnetic actuator 11, electronic control unit 30, accelerator pedal position pickup 23, diesel rpm pickup 28, rack coordinate pickup 29, pressure and temperature gages in intake manifold 24 and 25 in fuel low-pressure line 26, 27, and redundant rpm control mechanism. Centrifugal weight coupling 4 is fitted on drive shaft 1 to thrust on main lever 5. Main spring 7 is coupled with main lever 5. Fuel pump rack 9 is coupled with rack level 10. Rack level 10 is articulated to coupling 4. Electronic control unit 30 is connected with electromagnetic actuator 11. Redundant mechanism comprises: supply terminal 19 of electronic control unit 30, control lever 8, bell crank retainer 17, retainer spring 18, electromagnet 21, tie rod 20, starting lever 22 and articulation between electromagnetic actuator and rack lever 10. Control lever 8 is aligned with accelerator pedal 14 and coupled via main spring 7 with main lever 5. Bell crank retainer 17 interacts with control lever 8. Retainer spring 18 engages with supply terminal 19. Tie rod 20 connects electromagnet 21 with retainer 17. Starting lever 22 is connected to electromagnet armature 21.

EFFECT: manual or automatic switching from electronic to mechanical controller.
