FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for coating application on a food product involves the following stages: product is supplied in the form of particles to the vibration conveyor input; one creates conveyor vibration causing the product motion in the vertical direction inside the conveyor and motion in the horizontal direction along the conveyor. The Peclet number is equal to more than approximately 6; the coating material is supplied into the vibration conveyor; the food product is coated with the coating material as the product moves from the vibration conveyor input to the output.
EFFECT: good stirring of granules with low moisture content in a boiling layer in the process of the coating application on the granules preventing fine fractions formation and removal of just applied coating from the granules which allows to decrease products losses.
