FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to making of electrode for surface processing by discharge. Composition including electrically conducting mixed material with grain size of 5 mcm comprises first powder. Said first powder is produced by whatever process selected from the group consists of spraying, reducing and carbonyl process. Besides, it comprises produced by grinding and binder. Note that, electrically conducting mixed material includes second powder with fraction of 10-65 wt % is subjected to injection moulding to get raw blank. Said blank is heated to remove aforesaid binder and sintered at temperature and time holding required in production of electrode with electrical resistance of 1"Ч"10-3 to 3"Ч"10-2 Ohm∙cm.
EFFECT: higher quality of sintering, ruled out chances of overbaking.
