FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device for digital control of radiation power of a laser emitter includes a laser emitter with a built-in photodiode connected to a photodiode signal amplifier, series-connected reference voltage source, adder, where signals from the photodiode signal amplifier and reference voltage source are transmitted to the input of the adder, integrating circuit and telescope control system. The device also includes a digital-to-analogue converter (DAC), which is connected by its analogue input to the output of the integrating circuit and by digital inputs to the telescope control system and comprises series-connected transistor switches with weighted resistors and an adder operational amplifier, the output of which is connected to the pumping current source of the laser emitter, the output of which is connected to the laser emitter, wherein the pumping current is controlled by digital input signal of the DAC transmitted from the telescope control system.
