FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to metal cutting, particularly, to cooling of drill by cryogenic fluid fed via machine spindle lengthwise axial channel. Cryogenic fluid is fed from external source via heat-isolate line to coupling case wherein fluid flows in coolant feed pipe isolated by evacuated chamber arranged at spindle shaft. Coolant feed pipe is connected with coolant branch pipe arranged in standard tool holder at spindle end. Coolant branch pipe feed said fluid to tool fitted in its holder. Prior to tool changing, coolant feed pipe is disconnected from coolant feed branch pipe to stop the feed of cryogenic fluid in geed pipe.
EFFECT: compatibility with standard holders.
