FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: proposed machine comprises frame with struts 8, proportioning chute 10, spinning casting wheel 1, mould composed of shell 2 rigidly secured at wheel 1 and segment of bush 4 with case 5 and coolant feed channels 6 interacting therewith. Mechanism to press bush segment to said shell is composed of spring-loaded leverage 9 fitted on axle 7 fitted in frame strut 8. Liquid metal is fed by proportioner 10 to crystallisation zone composed by shell 2 and segment of bush 4. Ingot 12 moved from crystallisation zone is retained in bore of shell 2 by self-aligning rollers 14 and bent of by blade 15 and fed for further processing. To eliminate shrinkage clearance, said rollers have working surface width smaller than that of the ingot.
EFFECT: higher quality.
