FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: casting rotary machine contains calibrated cast wheel 2, its transverse cross-section is made in form of equilateral trapezium with angle of draw αd=7÷9°, idler wheel 3, endless movable tape 4, press roller 8 and feeding tube 7 installed at the gauge input. The longitudinal axis of the press roller 8 and longitudinal axis of the cast wheel 2 are located in same horizontal plane. The liquid copper is poured in the mixer, supplied to bath 6 and directed to the gauge input via the feed tube 7 installed relatively to the longitudinal axis of the cast wheel at angle 90°. Body of the feed tube 7 is made out of siliceous high-alloyed steel with silicon content to 5%, nickel and chrome - 20÷25% each. The black 10 leaving the gauge moves along the trajectory 11, at output of the cast machine it is unbend and directed for further rolling.
EFFECT: increased quality of cast copper blank, service life of the feed tube, and machine operation reliability.
