SUBSTANCE: lawnmower comprises a traction system connected to the housing having a cutting system. The cutting system comprises a rotating multispiral cutting element and a fixed blade. The cutting element is made in the form of a screw, which ends of the coils are welded to the plate with width greater than the thickness of the coil. The plate has a cutting edge with a notch directed towards rotation of the screw at an angle smaller than the angle of friction of stems on the plate material. The fixed blade is composed of segments copying the shape of the plates and having one cutting edge.

EFFECT: improving the quality of the cut of plants and expanding the functional capabilities of the cutting unit.
