FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing N-(2-heterocycloalkyl-1-ylethyl)adamantane-2-amines of general formula: where X = a bond, -CH2-, -O-, which includes alkylation of a heterocycle selected from piperidine, morpholine and pyrrolidine with N-(2-chloroethyl)adamantane-2-amino chlorohydrate, obtained by chlorinating 2-(2-adamantylamino)ethanol with thionyl chloride, with molar ratio of N-(2-chloroethyl)adamantane-2-amino chlorohydrate to the heterocycle of 1:8-10, followed by treatment of the reaction mass with an aqueous alkaline solution and separating the end product.
EFFECT: obtaining novel adamantane amine derivatives with high output and purity.
