FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method of casting of moulds from heat-resistant "5ХНМ" and "4Х5МФС" grade steels of higher ductility used at high impact loads. It comprises remelting of used tool of one steel grade. Pouring of fused metal into mould, casting crystallization and cooling ate, then performed. Now, preliminary heat treatment, machining, quenching and tempering are effected. Preliminary heat treatment is performed under the following conditions: heating to Ac3+(30-40)°C, holding thereat for two hours, cooling at the rate of 25-30°C/h to Ar1-(20-30)°C, holding thereat for 5 hours, cooling with furnace to 500-550°C, final cooling in air while tempering temperature is not limited by lower limit.
EFFECT: resilience, ductility and strength of cast moulds not lower than those of the tool made thereof.
