FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: engine comprises piston (2) sliding in piston (1) articulated with con-rod (9). Con-rod motion is transferred to crankshaft (17) crank (5) via transfer link composed by crossbar (6). The latter is coupled with crank (5) via hinge at central support point. The latter is located at mid position at the section between two other crossbar support point. One of the latter is articulated with con-rod (9) while another one is articulated with one end of control lever (11). Second end of control lever (11) is connected with control device, for example, eccentric (13) to be displaced in controlled path and be locked thereafter. Piston (2) is equipped with extra control lever (12), crossbar (8), con-rod (10) and crankshaft (18). These are arranged in symmetry with control lever (11), crossbar (6), con-rod (9) and crankshaft (17) relative to the axis of cylinder (1). Rotation of both crankshaft is timed by gearing with gear ratio equal to unity. Crankshafts (17, 18) run in opposite directions. One of every control device can shaft control lever relative to the other one.
EFFECT: balanced variable forces of inertia and their moments, mutual damping of lateral forces acting on piston.
