FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a drug administration device. The drug administration device comprises a tubular body, a drive, a restraining unit, an activation unit, a container holder and a feedback unit. The tubular body has a proximal end and an opposite distal end. The drive is configured to have an effect on a drug container for the drug ejection. The restraining unit is configured to restrain the drive in the pre-tensed position. The activation unit is configured to have an effect with the restraining unit to release the drive from the pre-tensed position. The activation unit represents a tubular activation element configured sliding and coaxial in relation to the tubular body. The container holder is coaxially arranged in the tubular activation element and rigidly attached to the tubular body. The drug container is arranged in the holder container. The drug container comprises a pre-set amount of the drug, a movable stop and an administration element. The drive comprises a piston rod and the first flexible element found in the pre-tensed position in the piston rod and wherein the piston rod is arranged so that to be in contact with the movable limiter in the drug container. The restraining unit represents a tubular elongated portion rigidly connected to the distal end of the tubular body, and a tubular actuating element which is connected and interacts both with the tubular elongated portion, and with the tubular actuating element so that when the tubular actuating element is pressed tight to the point of administration, the tubular actuating element turns in relation to the tubular elongated portion; it results in releasing the drive from the pre-tensed position for pressing the movable limiter and thereby ejecting the drug. A feedback unit is configured to interact both with the restraining unit, and with the drive to generate an audio, and/or tactile, and/or visual signal specifying that the drug has been ejected completely. The feedback unit represents a longitudinal element for signal generation configured to be connected to the tubular elongated portion and to the drive so that when the piston rod is completely released from the tubular elongated portion and the longitudinal element of signal generation releases from the tubular elongated portion and moves in the distal direction under a residual force of the first flexible element for generating audio, and/or tactile, and/or visual signal specifying that the drug has been ejected completely.
EFFECT: invention is reliable and easy to use when handling and actuating.
