FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, exactly to device for drug administration, particularly to improved, more convenient for user, automatic drug administration device providing user with auditory, visual, or tactile confirmation of injection performance. Device for drug administration comprises tubular body having proximal end and opposite distal end; driver unit made capable of action upon drug container to eject medicinal agent; retaining unit made capable to retain said driver unit in pre-tensed condition; and activation unit in form of tubular activating element made capable to interact with said retaining unit to release said driver unit from pre-tensed condition. Driver unit comprises piston rod and first flexible element that is arranged in pre-tensed condition within piston rod. Retaining unit represents tubular extension part rigidly fixed to distal end of tubular body, and tubular execution element, which is connected to interact with both tubular extension part and tubular activating element, so that when said tubular activating element is pressed against point of administration, said tubular execution element turns relative to above tubular extension part, as result, said driver unit is released from pre-tensed condition to press upon drug container, thus pushing drug. Tubular execution element contains first matching device connected to interact with appropriate first matching device of tubular activating element, and second matching device connected to interact with appropriate second matching device of tubular extension part. Piston rod contains releasable engagement unit connected to interact with appropriate second matching device of tubular extension part.
EFFECT: invention is reliable and easy to use when handling and actuating.
