FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method of management and feeding dairy cows provides for formation of groups and feeding the animals, taking into account changes in daily milk yield and body weight as the change in the physiological state of the cows in lactation period. At that, the daily milk yield is calculated based on the month of lactation and the planned milk yield per lactation. The change in body weight is calculated taking into account the number and the period of lactation, the planned milk yield per lactation, the daily increment and duration of pregnancy. The diets are calculated for the middle of each period.
EFFECT: use of the method enables to increase productivity of the herd.
