SUBSTANCE: lighting system contains a primary light source and at least one light scattering and conversing plate, which contains the first layer (12) with the scattering property and, essentially, having no conversing properties, and the second layer (14) with the conversing property and located on optical path between the primary light source and the first layer, meanwhile the width A of the first layer and the width B of the layer are related as A ≥ 3*B, the first layer, in essence, is made from ceramic material with the density ≥ 90% and ≤ 100% of the theoretical density, the width B of the second layer amounts ≥ 5 mcm and ≤ 80 mcm, and the width A of the first layer amounts ≥ 50 mcm and ≤ 1000 mcm.

EFFECT: improvement of characteristics of the lighting system at the expense of segregation of scattering and conversion.
