FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to pulmonology and gastroenterology, and can be used for the surgical removal of malignant and benign new growths obstructing a hollow organ. What is involved is an endoscopic exposure of the new growth to the laser light at a wave length of 1.06 mcm. A flame-resistance gas flow is supplied to the laser impingement at a flow delivery rate of 1.6-2.6 l/min. The obstructing new growth is exposed at the power density of 75-100 W/cm2 until its base is coloured in pale-grey.
EFFECT: method provides optimising the ablation environment surrounding the new grows of the hollow organs by preventing tissue carbonisation, avoiding the laser light scattering and smoke spread within the exposure, minimising a probability of large vessels involvement and the hollow organ wall perforation.
