FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: after a cystoscope is introduced into a bladder, carbon dioxide is pumped therein until the bladder spreads; that is followed by a cystoscopic examination, which involves visualizing a calculus, and a contact cystolithotripsy is performed until observing small fragments to be washed in normal saline.
EFFECT: method enables eliminating such a side effect as a calculus hypermobility preventing the fast litholysis procedure and making surgeon's manipulations more complicated; it provides the higher-quality intraoperative visualisation, and reduces the operation time.
