FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: powdered material is accelerated in a convergent-divergent nozzle by a heated gas stream and applied to the product surface as the mixture of fine powders containing the following components, wt %: corundum - 1/4 at most of the mixture volume, aluminium - 1/10 at most of the mixture volume, copper - the remaining volume or corundum - 1/4 at most of the mixture volume, stannum - 1/10 at most of the mixture volume, copper - the remaining volume. Upon application of the above powdered material annealing is performed during 24-48 hours at temperature of 180-220°C. In particular embodiments of the invention TiC is introduced to the mix in quantity less than 0.17 of the mixture volume.

EFFECT: manufacturing of inexpensive and high-grade antifriction coating with good adhesion to steel products.
