FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle parking assistance systems. A parking assistance control device comprises an obstacle detector a parking assistance module; a parking start detection module and an assistance control value reduction module. At the same time parking assistance represents application of braking force to a vehicle and limitation of a vehicle motive force. In other versions of a device reduction of operational value of assistance control is carried out by reduction of parking start distance and by reduction of operational value of assistance control. In another version the parking assistance control device comprises an obstacle detector; a parking assistance device; a parking definition device and a device of assistance control value reduction. In the method of parking assistance control they detect an obstacle behind the vehicle; determine the distance between the obstacle and the vehicle; assist parking to prevent approach between the obstacle and the vehicle; determine the start of the parking operation and reduce operational value of assistance control.
EFFECT: provides for more reliable assistance control.
