FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemical industry and can be used to obtain gaseous oxygen from compressed air by adsorption. Gaseous oxygen, possessing the purity, equal or higher than the specified purity value, is obtained by air separation due to nitrogen adsorption on, at least, one adsorbent, sorbing nitrogen better than oxygen. Gaseous oxygen, obtained in zone 1, is supplied to the place of application or to the place of storage in zone 4. The urity of gaseous oxygen is measured before the place of application or the storage place and compared with the preliminarily specified purity value. Consumption of the flow, supplied to the user, is regulated by opening a recirculation valve, placed on a bypass line, created on a gas pipeline, used to supply obtained oxygen. The flow consumption is reduced, if the oxygen purity is lower than the specified purity value, and increased, if the oxygen purity is higher than the specified purity value.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to provide effective control of the adsorption process.
