FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises cutting tool drill bush penetration, feeding it axially and adjusting the drill bush position. Cutting tool has cutting part transfer part for fitting the drill bush and section abutting thereon with rough surface. At cutting tool penetration in workpiece, drill bush is withdrawn therefrom for unobstructed motion of chips. At termination of penetration, cutting tool axial feed is terminated, drill bush is moved against the stop to cutting part to feed both tool and bush into bored hole. After withdrawal of cutting tool from processed bore, drill bush is fed to said section with rough surface to remove stuck chips. Invention covers design peculiarities of the device for implementation of described process.
EFFECT: longer life, power savings.
