FIELD: machine-tool manufacture, in particular, multispindle machines of bridge-type intended for drilling deep holes in tube sheets and similar parts applicable in power engineering industry. SUBSTANCE: bridge-type machine having multispindle unit with one drilling unit is provided spindle unit 10 by means of guide member and guided member spring-loaded relative to guide member and connected with it for limited motion in direction parallel to longitudinal axis of drill 13. Guided member is made in form of slide 26 and guide member is made in form of plate 17 with guide slot accommodating slide 26 spring-loaded relative to plate by spring 28 for stopping the drill by limiter 29 in nonoperative position. Limiter 29 is located on plate. Plate 27 is connected with spindle unit 10 for possibility of removal. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 8 cl, 5 dwg
