MULTIOPERATION BRIDGE-TYPE MACHINE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: machine tool manufacture, in particular, multispindle bridge-type machines designed for drilling deep holes in tube sheets and similar parts applicable in power engineering industry. SUBSTANCE: machine has table 1 for location of workpiece 2. Located on both sides of table are guides 3 on which gantry 4 is installed for motion. Multispindle unit 6 is installed on slideways of rail 5 for motion. Unit 6 has tail spindle 7 with drilling spindle unit 8 and tail spindle 9 with boring-milling spindle unit 10. Drilling spindle unit has device for supply of lubricant-coolant whose outlet is communicated with channel 12 for supply of lubricant-coolant to zone of deep hole drilling made in deep-hole drill 13. Spindle unit 10 has mechanism 14 for collection of used lubricant-coolant. Mechanism 14 is made in form of body 25 with hollow 26 in which on opposite walls aligning bushing 27 and stay bush 28 are located and designed for location of deep hole drill. Member for withdrawal of lubricant-coolant with chips from mechanism of its collection is made in form of trough 35 opened from the top and connected with movable part of gantry and located at some angle.
