FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hybrid vehicle drive system. The hybrid vehicle drive system includes accumulator which supplies electric motor with electric energy; the first and the second gearshift mechanism and the first and the second engagement and disengagement part. Hybrid vehicle is actuated in EV mode by means of electric motor driving force only. The system additionally contains module for determination of necessity to work in cylinder-off mode. When the mentioned mode is determined as necessary vehicle is actuated in EV mode by means of disengagement of the first engagement and disengagement part and the second engagement and disengagement part. When the mentioned mode is determined as necessary internal combustion engine works in cylinder-off mode. Module for determination of operation mode necessity determines that cylinder-off mode is necessary when vehicle is coasting.

EFFECT: quick response and reduced fuel consumption.
