FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: stub antenna contains radiating unit of ultrashort wave radio frequency range in the shape of stub, isolator, placed in the base of the stub, power supply unit and cover on stands. Distance between the cover and side surface of the stub is within (0.006÷0.014)λmax, where λmax is maximum wavelength for the frequency range of antenna. The cover is made from flexible laminated material, transparent for ultrashort waves, but absorbing millimetre and centimetre range waves. The stands are located alongside the stub with step of h, equal to (0.25±0.05)λmin, where λmin is minimum wavelength of the ultrashort range for this antenna. Each of the stands is designed in the shape of two orthogonal flat plates, rounded at the butt ends in the plane perpendicular to stub longitudinal axis, with holes in the centre to put through the stub, dielectric capacity within ε 1.15-2.5 and tg of dielectric loss angle within x 0.05-0.001. Upper stand is at the stub upper side, and the lower one is at stub base, above the isolator.
EFFECT: lower reflection of antenna in centimetre and millimetre range, which enhances EMC of radio devices and efficiency of countermeasures to detection facilities, with the same radio characteristics in ultrashort range, functionality enhancement of stub antenna.
