ULTRA-SHORT-WAVE ANTENNA Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC H01Q1/00 B66F3/08

Abstract RU 2708810 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to antenna equipment, and is intended for use in ultra-short wave (VNF) radio communication channels and in equipment of marker signals fixed, for example, by aircraft. VNF antenna consists of emitter 1, pressed into radio-frequency fairing (RFF) 2 and placed above metal screen (MS) 3, which is installed on waterproof cover (VPC) 4, fixed in opening of pit 5. Pit is equipped in semi-conducting medium 6. In the plane of pit 5 there are: a mechanism for controlling the position of the radiator (MCPR), consisting of screw jacks (SJ) 8, a conical reduction gear (KRG) 9, which is fixed on the shaft of the reversible electric motor (REM) 10 of lifting/lowering emitter 1. Depending on the selected operating frequency, radiator 1 is lifted/lowered by the MCPR at a given height relative to the metal screen (MS) 3, which enables to preserve the shape of the DP and to increase the antenna efficiency.

EFFECT: broader range of frequencies at which stability of the shape of the directional pattern (DP) with a maximum oriented at the zenith is provided, and the antenna efficiency is increased.
