SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to biochemistry and provides a nucleic acid which encodes a FRET-based far-red fluorescent biosensor for intracellular captase 3 activity measurement, where the analytical signal of the fluorescent biosensor is fluorescence in the far-red spectral region, the acceptor is iRFP and the donor is a far-red fluorescent protein of the GFP family, where the amino acid sequence of the far-red fluorescent biosensor is selected from SEQ ID NO: 5, SEQ ID NO: 6, SEQ ID NO: 7.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a novel biosensor for measuring captase 3 activity using far-red fluorescent proteins which provide an analytical fluorescent signal from the biosensor in the wavelength range greater than 650 nm.
