FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of producing aerogel based on bacterial cellulose. Method involves culturing a strain of Gluconacetobacter sucrofermentans H-110 in static or dynamic conditions for 3–5 days at temperature of 28–30 °C to obtain a hydrogel which is then frozen at a temperature of minus 50 °C and lyophilically dried.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a sound-insulating material with a high sound absorption coefficient.
