METHOD FOR PERSONALISED EXCIMER LASER CORRECTION OF VISION Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC A61F9/07 A61B18/20

Abstract RU 2537069 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ophthalmosurgery and can be used for personalised excimer laser correction of vision. Eye aberrations are diagnosed by the use of a laser aberrometer, which is able to measure the low- and high-order eye aberrations. The correction of the second-order aberrations and the correction of the high-order aberrations are calculated. The refraction correction surgery is two-staged; the first stage involves the correction of the second-order aberrations with an optical zone of the correction of the second-order aberrations, while the second stage involves the correction of the high-order aberrations with the optical zone equal to a pupil size in diagnosis of the aberrations.

EFFECT: method enables performing the correction in the patients with a narrow pupil, and improving the quality of vision.
