FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave electronic equipment. A microwave amplifier comprises two transmission lines with identical wave resistances, a field transistor with a Schottky barrier, two inductance coils and two blocking capacitors. The amplifier additionally includes two elements of the transmission line, each of two sections of connected lines, two sections of the transmission line and a capacitor, at the same time each section of connected lines and each section of the transmission line has width equal to the width of the transmission line at the inlet or outlet of the amplifier, and the distance between two sections of connected transmission lines is equal to a quarter of width, the first end of the first section of the connected lines of the first element of the transmission line is connected to one end of the capacitor, the other end of the capacitor is connected to a drain of the field transistor with the Schottky barrier, the second end of the second section of connected lines of the first element of the transmission line is connected to one end of the first section of the transmission line, the first end of the first section of connected lines of the second element of the transmission line is connected to a source of the field transistor with the Schottky barrier, the second end of the second section of the connected lines of the second element of the transmission line is connected to one end of the second section of the transmission line, other ends of the first and second sections of the transmission line are connected to each other and to the transmission line at the outlet of the amplifier.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of coefficients of a voltage standing wave at the inlet and outlet.
