FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to improvements in beverages/food products preparation systems and, in particular, to beverages/food products preparation systems containing machines of such type that use preliminarily packed cartridges containing beverage ingredients or food ingredients. The cartridge (30) contains one or more beverage or food ingredients for usage in a machine for preparation of a beverage or a food product from the said ingredients. The cartridge (30) contains a base (34), an outlet hole (37) in the base (34) and a projection (38) passing from the cartridge base (34) around the outlet hole (37). The cartridge (30) is inserted into the retaining receptacle (14) of the machine; the projection (38) interacts with the machine element (65) and is designed so that to enable setting pressure in the cartridge (30) during the preparation process.
