FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: claimed is method of precipitating silica from thermal waters including introduction of precipitating agent - silica-containing material -sorbent (0.7-2.4 wt %), added into hydrothermal waters at t=20-30°C with carrying out sorption for 2-25 minutes, formation of sediment and its separation from solution.
EFFECT: precipitation of silica from hydrothermal solution without consumption of electric energy and electrode material, realization of claimed method does not require delivery, storage and application of corrosion-active reagents.
