SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for recovering silica from thermal waters and can be applied in the chemical, oil refining industry, in geothermal energy. Method for sedimentation of silica from thermal waters is proposed, which includes treating water at a constant electric current and a high-frequency electric pulse in an electrolyzer with aluminum electrodes.
EFFECT: sedimentation of silica from the hydrothermal solution while reducing the consumption of electricity and electrode material.
