FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: sulphation of betulinic acid is carried out in 1,4-dioxane with a mixture of sulphamic acid and urea at 70-75°C for 3.0-3.5 hours, and separation of the product is carried out by cooling the reaction mass, diluting with water, extracting with butyl or isoamyl alcohol, washing with water, treating the extract, concentrating the alcohol layer and separating the end product. Various versions of treating the alcohol extract are disclosed.
EFFECT: wider range of sulphating agents for sulphating betulinic acid, improved environmental friendliness of the method, wider range of sulphated betulinic acid derivatives.
