SUBSTANCE: betulin 3-acetate is sulphated by a mixture of sulphamic acid and carbamide in 1,4-dioxane in a certain environment. The product is recovered by cooling down with the reaction mass diluted in water, extracted in butyl and isoamyl alcohol, washed with water, with the alcoholic extract treated, with the alcoholic layer concentrated, and with the end product recovered.
EFFECT: method enables extending the range of sulphating agents applicable for betulin 3-acetate sulphation, improving the ecological compatibility of the method ensured by avoiding aggressive and toxic chlorosulphonic acid; the range of sulphated betulin 3-acetate derivatives is also extended.
