FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used to prevent a silicone oil diffusion into the anterior eye chamber following a cataract extraction with an endovitreal silicone oil tamponade. That is ensured by filling the anterior eye chamber with a viscoelastic. A crystalline lens is removed. An intracapsular ring is implanted into a capsular sac of the crystalline lens. An intraocular lens (IOL) is implanted. The lens is anchored to an iris in a projection of the detachment of tendons of Zinn for fixing the block: the intracapsular ring - the capsular sac - the IOL. Thereafter, the viscoelastic is washed out and replaced for physiologic saline.
EFFECT: method provides the more effective stage of operation, reduces the risk of postoperative complications by the selective fixation of the above block for providing the stable position in case of pressure differences possible at the various stages of cataract phakoemulsification.
