FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to medical rehabilitation, cardiology, and represents a drug-free method of cardioprotection in patients with ischemic heart disease in preoperative coronary artery bypass grafting. That is ensured by a course of intensive physical training on a treadmill in the preoperative period with underlying standard drug therapy, physical exercises, respiratory gymnastics, psychocorrection for 7 days before an operative intervention. Each training consists of preparatory (5 min), main (30 min) and final (5 min) periods. Preparatory and final training period is walking with the same speed of 2.5 km/h for all patients. Intensity of physical load of the main period is determined based on the value of peak oxygen consumption (VO2peak), determined for each patient before the beginning of training in a cardiopulmonary exercise test. That is followed by calculating target oxygen consumption (VO2dest) during training, which should be 80 % of VO2peak: VO2dest=VO2peak⋅0.8. Based on the obtained target oxygen consumption value, the patient's speed on the treadmill is determined, which must be maintained to achieve the target training parameters. Said speed is calculated using original design formula.
EFFECT: method provides improved myocardial perfusion in the postoperative coronary artery bypass.
