FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to technologies of perioperative support during cardiac surgery. Compression of the anterior abdominal wall is performed immediately after tracheal intubation or until the splanchnic perfusion pressure decreases, which is defined as the difference between the mean arterial pressure and intra-abdominal pressure up to 40 mm Hg or until the intra-abdominal pressure (IAP) rises to 25 mm Hg. within 20 minutes. After that, the surgical stage of the operation begins.
EFFECT: method reduces the frequency of myocardial damage in patients operated on under cardiopulmonary bypass, which leads to decreased financial costs for treatment and improved results of cardiac surgery.
