METHOD OF ESTIMATING ADAPTIVE-COMPENSATORY REACTIONS IN HEALTHY INDIVIDUALS TO REMOTE PRE-CONDITIONING Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A61B8/06 A61B5/1455

Abstract RU 2609059 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiology, and can be used for assessing adaptive-compensatory reactions in healthy individuals on remote pre-conditioning. One performs test with arterial occlusion by applying cuff on upper part of hand. Occlusion is created by lifting pressure up to 200 mm Hg during 5 minutes, followed by reperfusion during 5 minutes. Cycle is carried out three times. Microcirculation parameters are measured by laser Doppler flowmetry (LDF) and content of porphyrins at wavelengths 710, 640 and 680 nm is measured by laser fluorescence (LF) by means of multifunctional laser diagnostic complex "LAKK-M". Sensor is placed on palmar surface of left hand index finger in patient lying flat on back after 5-minute adaptation period in room at temperature +23…+24 °C. By LDF parameters microcirculation is calculated: microcirculation value (MV), mean square deviation (MSD), value of microvascular tone (MT) and intravascular resistance (Rc). Values before and after pre-conditioning are compared. If observing rise of after pre-conditioning indices MV, MSD, MT, reduction of Rc, reduction of content of porphyrins in all wavelengths, compensatory-adaptive reaction is assessed as normal in response to acute short-term hypoxia in healthy individuals.

EFFECT: method enables determining adaptation body potential and remote pre-conditioning in healthy individuals by assessing microcirculation and redox processes.
