FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: individual ocular pressure sensor comprises a body, an element of eyeball deformity through an eyelid, a measuring element, and a scale. It is additionally equipped with a contact sleeve, a sleeve holder, a fixative and light and sound signalling units. The measuring element represents an electronic assembly, and the scale is a digital display. The body is L-shaped a horizontal portion of which comprises the contact sleeve reciprocated by the sleeve holder configured to pass through a vertical portion of the body and provided with a fixing plate in its back side. The fixative is arranged inside the horizontal portion of the body and is connected to the light and sound signalling units arranged at the opposite ends of the vertical body, and the electronic assembly. The element of eyeball deformity through the eyelid represents L-shaped contact lever rigidly mounted inside the fixative an upper end of which is flat, while a lower end is connected to the electronic assembly.

EFFECT: using the given apparatus enables measuring pressure accurately and allows for the unassisted intraocular pressure measurement by the patient.
