FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to field of medicine. Method of measuring of intraocular pressure (IOP) through eye-lid is based on dynamic deformation of eyeball through eye-lid with rod. After which parameters of function of rod displacement in time are measured by displacement transducer. Rod is connected with case by means of elastic elements. Static eye-lid deformation is realised. Then impulse dynamic deformation of eye is realised by means of rod, and value of intraocular pressure is determined by frequency of free rod fluctuation. Device for IOP measuring also contains external pressure transducer and unit of additional pressure of rod.
EFFECT: ensuring possibility to determine intraocular pressure through eye-lid irrespective of geometrical and physical characteristics of eye-lid, which covers eye, and accuracy of installation of the device on eye.
