FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for measurement of medium flow speed. A measurement device (1) comprises facilities for development of permanent magnetic field (B) orthogonal to direction of the flow (v) of the medium (5), and also at least two sampling areas (7, 7'), which are located in the plane (E) lying orthogonally to direction of flow (v) of the medium (5) on walls (9) of the measurement pipe (3), at the same time each area (7, 7') of sampling comprises an electrode (13, 13'), which on the side (5) facing the medium comprises a non-metal porous layer (11), and a measurement instrument (19) to record a measurement signal. The measurement device (1) differs by the fact that the porous layer (11, 11') comprises oxide and/or non-oxide ceramic material, which covers fully the side of the specified electrode facing the medium and at the same time electrically isolates the electrode from the medium.
EFFECT: reduced noise and drift due to giving a property of a low pass filter to a porous layer.
