SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic circuitry, particularly a switching device. A switching device for switching current between a first lead (1) and a second lead (2) comprises a cascade circuit with series-connection of a first semiconductor switch (M) and a second semiconductor switch (J), both semiconductor switches (M, J) being connected to each other through a common point (13), wherein the first semiconductor switch (M) is controlled through a first control input according to the voltage between the first control input and the first lead (1), and the second semiconductor switch (J) is controlled through a second control input (4) according to voltage between the second control input (4) and the common point (13), and a control circuit is connected between the second lead (2) and at least one of the control inputs, said control circuit being provided with a capacitor (C) whose value can be preset.

EFFECT: limiting the rate of change of voltage across switches or a defined level of said voltage.
