SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrophoretic display screens. The device comprises a display screen control signal generator for refreshing the display screen by transmitting to each pixel a drive waveform during a plurality of frame periods, configured for alternate selection of each line of the display screen for a line driving period and for driving columns of the display screen with a time interval of the drive waveforms for line pixels, a touch recognition unit for reading a signal from a projection-capacitive electrode during a recognition interval which provides response to touch recognition, a means of identifying change in the column driving level of driving waveforms of pixels of one selected line by a value greater than a threshold between the selected line and the next selected line, providing a line change signal when driving a column.
EFFECT: high input accuracy.
