FIELD: displays.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for actuation of electrooptical displays. An electrooptical display containing multiple of display pixels and a controlled display controller is actuated, wherein the display controller is connected with the host to provide working instructions to the display controller. The display with a first image is refreshed. The display with a second image following the first image is refreshed. The image data associated with the first image and the second image is processed to identify display pixels with edge artifacts and generate image data associated with the identified pixels. The pixels with edge artifacts associated with the image data are stored in the memory. A waveform is activated to eliminate edge artifacts.
EFFECT: reduced amount of visible artifacts.
