FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction of shallow foundations in permafrost soils. A foundation slab in permafrost soil strengthened with a deepened shell located outside the foundation along its perimeter at certain distance from the edge of the slab. Deepening of the shell bottom exceeds depth of maximum horizontal movements of soil, the distance of the shell from the edge of the slab is assigned depending on the planned design bearing capacity or subsidence of the foundation. In the composite shell from reinforcing elements their upper parts are connected with a belt. The composite shell is made of separate reinforcing elements without gaps between them or with a pitch depending on planned design bearing capacity or design subsidence of the foundation. Vertical thermal elements are previously submerged into a soil base under the slab below the planned subsidence of the foundation for forced cooling or heating of soil in levelling of the foundation. Thermal elements are connected by supplying and draining manifolds with a source of cold and a source of heat.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the structure, reduced material intensity in construction of a foundation slab in permafrost soil.
