FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to experimental surgery, neurosurgery, and can be used for prevention of postoperative cicatrical adhesive epiduritis. A method involves approaching spinous processes of an experimental animal - a Wistar rat. Paraspinal muscles are separated bilaterally at the selected level of the spinal locomotor segment that is followed by a laminectomy and resecting the spinous process. A spinal plate comprising a spinous process base and a spinal arch from both sides is sawed out, thereby creating the bone defect. A visible portion of a yellow ligament is resected, and a dura mater is exposed. The dura mater is coated with Reperen implant placed up and down along the epidural space and into side portions of the spinal canal with immersing the implant edges under the remained tissues of the yellow ligament. That is followed by wound hemostasis and layered closure.

EFFECT: method enables preventing the cicatrical adhesive changes in the dura mater ensured by the hermetic closure of the epidural space and avoiding the response of the damaged portion of the yellow ligament to the dura mater.
